WICT and the Stanford Graduate School of Business are partner on the WICT Senior Executive Summit (SES), an invitation-only program is designed exclusively for the industry’s top-ranking women who are at peak levels of performance and want to continue to enhance their skills. SES enables participants to gather with their peers for a master class immersion program that combines the power of WICT's proven leadership development programs with the excellence of Stanford's top-rated business school.
The annual Betsy Magness Graduate Institute (BMGI) focuses on advanced leadership training exclusively for Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI) alumnae. BMGI provides an annual venue for alumnae to enhance their professional acumen as they work in an ever-evolving business environment.
Recognized across the industry as the premier leadership development opportunity for senior-level women, the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI) continues to be a flagship program for WICT. Since its creation in 1994, more than 900 women have graduated from BMLI, a year-long program that begins with a competitive application process, followed by five separate sessions focusing on key senior leadership competencies.
This two-part series, which may be taken in any order, helps mid-career women at the director and VP level build critical skills. Leading with Power and Authenticity is for women who want to build personal and professional power, lead authentically, and better leverage their strengths in the workplace. Executive Leadership Presence helps professionals develop their leadership presence to inspire, engage and influence others, and maintain productivity while increasing visibility and career mobility.
The WICT Rising Leaders Program is an exceptional leadership training program for up-and-coming industry professionals who have been identified by their companies as high performing contributors. Individuals accepted into the competitive application-based program participate in an intensive week-long immersion program, which includes leadership analysis and case study work.
Launched with a goal to create strong women leaders in technology, the Tech It Out Conference brings together experts from inside and outside the cable industry to share their insights on technology and leadership with our target audience of women and people of color. The conference allows dedicated time for leadership training and networking, giving participants the opportunity to connect with and learn from each other.

WICT offers companies the opportunity to hold in-house training programs exclusively for their employees with content developed by WICT. Our programs offer customized content and flexible formats that focus on practical learning within the context of your organization and the cable industry.
WICT’s 23 domestic and international chapters provide local access to educational opportunities for our over 10,000 members. The chapters embrace individuality, diversity and innovation in an array of offerings and activities, including industry- and geographically-specific educational opportunities; professional branding and communications, and one-on-one mentoring.
Members are typically senior management professionals in director-level and higher positions. Benefits include: At the global level, Executive Members are offered exclusive access to a distance-learning program that takes the form of webinars designed expressly for high-level executives. Locally, chapters hold various live and electronic programs just for executive members. Also at the local level, these members may vote in chapter elections and can hold chapter board positions.*
Members generally hold mid-level or supervisory positions. Benefits include: Value-added free webinars, mid-level level programs and targeted messaging geared toward your career level, and more. At the local level, these members may vote in chapter elections and can hold chapter board positions.*
Members occupy non-salaried (hourly) positions with no supervisory or direct budgetary responsibilities and less than two years' experience in any facet of the cable telecommunications industry. After two years at this level, Entry Level members will be automatically upgraded to Regular Level. Benefits include: Value-added free webinars, entry-level programs and targeted messaging geared toward your career level. At the local level, these members are not eligible to vote in chapter elections and cannot serve on the chapter board.
Members are full-time students currently earning 6 credit hours at graduate level or 12 credit hours at undergraduate level. Students are required to provide current proof of enrollment along with expected year of graduation. Student membership can be renewed for a maximum of 4 years at this level. After 4 years, students are automatically upgraded to Entry Level. Benefits include: The same benefits as entry-level members, with the added value of opportunities to network and build relationships for future opportunities, student mentoring programs through the local chapters, and more. Student members are not eligible to vote in chapter elections and cannot serve on the chapter board.
